It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Rowland of Colchester, Illinois, born in Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Glenn Smith and Mary Evelyn Birdsell Smith; her former husband Charles Fredrick Rowland; her husband Donald Laverne Shryack; her siblings, Ernie Smith of Macomb, IL, Dick Smith of Macomb, IL, Marvin Smith of Cedar Rapids, IA, Charles Smith of Moline, IL, Robert Smith of Macomb, IL and Beverly Hawkins (Frank) of Atkinson, IL; and her granddaughter Stacey Mayberry of Urbana, IL.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Dorethy (Wayne) of Tennessee, IL, Sherry Longcor of Urbana, IL, Duane of Carbondale, IL, Jim (Melissa) of Champaign, IL, Tim (Kim) of Parker, CO and Tom of Colchester, IL; her close friend Guy Eaves of LaHarpe, IL; and her brothers, Melvin Smith of Keokuk, IA and Bernard Smith of Colchester, IL. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
