He is survived by: his wife Darlene Shields; his daughters, Sherry Hoyt (Mike) and Joni Theis (Joel); his grandchildren, Jessica Branch (Jeff), Kristin Haines (Eric), Kaila Mason (Glade), Nathan Theis (Jillian) and Holly Clauson (Bryan); his great grandchildren, Macy Branch, Drew Branch, Andy Mason, Cody Mason, Lathan Haines, Jace Theis, Isabelle Theis, Abigail Clauson, Alyssa Clauson and Luke Clauson; and his brother Sam Shields (Phyllis).
