Though Marla may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Walker and Irma Ware Walker. She is survived by: her husband Jim Parker; her children, Krysta Royer and Brandon Parker; and her grandchildren, Jadyn Royer, Josey Parker and Ty Royer of Colchester.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM at the Jones Mortuary (217 E Depot St, Colchester, IL 62326). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
She was a member for many years with the Lamoine Saddle Club and Rushville Saddle Club, and had done tree survey for the Arbor Foundation.
