McMurl of Colchester, Illinois, born in Rushville, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amel E. Stevenson and Opal P. Crenshaw Stevenson; her husband John McMurl Sr.; her son James McMurl; and her grandchildren, Brian McMurl and Faith Hamann.

She is survived by: her children, John R. McMurl (Wannetta), Cynthia McMurl, Debra McMurl, Kathy McMurl and Sarah Metcalf (Jared); and her brothers, James E. Stevenson (Donna) and Herbert E. Stevenson (Donna).
