He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Vyhnanek and Francis Catherine Vyhnanek Sr. (Collins); and his brothers, Richard and Lenard Vyhnanek. He is survived by: his sons, Edward Vyhnanek III (Salvacion) of Goose Creek, SC, Duane Vyhnanek of Macomb, IL and Jason Vyhnanek (Erica Wright) of Colchester, IL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Colchester Veterans Memorial.
