He is survived by: his wife Janice Shoopman; his children, Paul Butterfield (Lisa) of Colchester and Kelly Butterfield (Justin Lundgren) of Macomb; his grandchildren, Jill Cook (Dylan), Courtney Rhoads (Wes), Avery and Liam Lundgren; his sister-in-law Sharon Butterfield of Rock Island; his brothers, Mel Butterfield (Brenda) of Branson and Bill Butterfield (Zennie); and his nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Mike of Phillip, J. R., Brian, Scott, Tim, Deb, Krista, Sara, Melissa, Glenda and Corrie.
