She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Chris and Estella Nickles; her aunt Mary Nickles; and her uncle Glen Brown. She is survived by: her husband Doug Meadows of Cobden; her children, Mary Katherine Meadows-Oatman (Terrance) of Carbondale and Douglas Eugene Meadows II (Megan Lynn) of Anna; her parent Christina Ellen Nickles of Anna; and her grandchildren, Alex Meadows, Eldin Myers, Connor Douglas Meadows and Olivia Elaine Meadows. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the American Cancer Society.
