It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Leggans of Cobden, Illinois, born in Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lawrence Jacob Stearn and Ruth Stearns (Anglin); her daughters, Debra Ann Penrod (Kevin Penrod) of Cobden and Pamela Renee Leggans (Gerri Keller) of Trenton, Illinois; her grandchildren, Ethan Sean Penrod of Cobden and Alyssa Diane Penrod of Cobden; her stepgranddaughter Kailey Keller of Trenton, IL; and her siblings, Daniel Eugene Stearns of Oregon, Martha June Knapp of Oregon, John Stearns of Oregon and Margaret Dawn File of Oregon.
