We bid farewell to Diane Marie McCleland (Cobden, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 16, 2024 at the age of 72. Diane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Flamm and Martha Flamm; and her brother-in-law Donnie Campbell. She is survived by: her husband Michael McCleland of Carbondale; her sons, Jerod McCleland of Austin, Texas and Jacob McCleland; her daughter-in-law Alessandra Perez of McCleland; her grandchildren, Hannah and William McCleland Perez of Arlington, Virginia; and her sisters, Theresa Hatley, Roberta Vanover, Nancy Flamm and Toni Campbell.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 4:45 PM at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home (214 N Front St, Cobden, IL 62920). Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (101 N Centennial St, Cobden, IL 62920). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (101 N Centennial St, Cobden, IL 62920).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Medical Center or St. Joseph's Church in Cobden.
