He was predeceased by: his parents, Durland Schaumburg and Katherine Ellen Schaumburg (VanHorn). He is survived by: his wife Charlene Schaumburg (Heinecke); his children, Herman Schaumburg (Si) of Wilmette and Katie O'Brien (Tim) of Bloomington, Illinois; and his sister Kay Stecher (Benton) of Galesburg, Illinois. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
