He was predeceased by: his sister Sherrie. He is survived by: his parents, Edward Herbert and Fern Herbert (Lipking); his spouses, Judy Stewart and Barbara; and his children, Brad Herbert (Katie) of Bellevue, NE, Cheryl Ferguson (Don), Bryan Podlashes (Renee), Tony Podlashes (Chris), Coal Valley and Thomas Podlashes. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
