He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Carter and Helen Young Carter; his sister Linda; and his close friend Dolly. He is survived by: his sons, Steven Carter (Xavier Keys) of Geneseo and Branden Berhenke of East Moline; and his grandchild Keagen Berhenke.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Schroder Mortuary - Silvis (701 1st Ave, Silvis, IL 61282).
