He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Sellers and Nackola Sellers (Ackerson); his son Robert E. Sellers; his daughter-in-law Bonnie Sellers; and his sisters, Nancy and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathleen Stroup; his children, Robin Sellers of Coal Valley and Jim; his daughter-in-law Karlene Sellers of Fort Myers, Florida; his grandsons, James Sellers Jr. and Robert D. Sellers; and his siblings, Gary Ackerson of Arizona and Mary Jo Grobleski of North Carolina.
Memorials may be made to the Richard D. Sellers Memorial Fund which will be established by his family.
