In loving memory of Marilyn F. Cronkleton of Coal Valley, Illinois, who departed this world on December 31, 2024 at the age of 79. Marilyn leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur VanDeVoorde and Eugenia VanDeVoorde (Marchand); her husband Jerry; and her siblings, Jim VanDeVoorde and Bernadette Weidner.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Cronkleton of Milwaukee and Matthew Cronkleton (Kelly) of Anchor, Illinois; and her siblings, Annette Tillberg (Larry), Jane Kincaid (Steve), John VanDeVoorde (Cheryl), Joy VanDeVoorde and Joe VanDeVoorde. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and her wonderful neighbors.
A prayer was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory - Coal Valley (1700 1st St, Coal Valley, IL 61240). Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery (2301 3rd St, East Moline, IL 61244).
