She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hartzell Popejoy and Myrtle Popejoy (Wamsley); her husband Thomas Birmingham; her nephews, George Boyle of Colona, David Boyle of East Moline, Dan Boyle of East Moline, Rick Wamsley of Illinois, James Wamsley of North Carolina and Dennis Wamsley of Texas; and her close friend Patricia Faucon of Milan.
