He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd Frels and Lila Frels (Wainright); his wife Donna DePorter; his children, Steve Frels (Valerie), Linda Johnson (Ed) of Aliso Viejo, CA and John Frels (Monica) of Libertyville, IL; his grandchildren, Michael Frels (Angela), Jenny Lenger (Tom), Thomas Johnson, Andrew Frels, Kate Frels and Ryan Frels; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Tyler, Clare, Shane and Carter; his brothers, Ted Frels and Everett Frels; his sister-in-law Kathy Neilson; and his brother Melvin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Maria Goretti Church or Clarissa Cook Hospice House.
