She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McKean and Eloise McKean (Hayes); her son Albert Lyons; her brother William McKean; and her pet Samantha.
She is survived by: her husband Ron Rettig; her daughters, Hope Schenebricker of Rock Island and Faith Houk (Dustin) of Coal Valley; her grandchildren, Izaiah Fuller and Addilyn Houk; and her pet Oogy.
