He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Bertelsen and Irma Bertelsen (Hanna); his wife Barbara Smallwood (Woods); and his brother Richard Bertelsen. He is survived by: his son Eric; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Bertelsen of Hebron, KY; and his siblings, David Bertelsen of Tucson, AZ. and Cornelia Ann Schaefer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as other family members, and dear friends.
