Dale J. Langel Obituary

Langel of Coal Valley, Illinois, born in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 11, 2024 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Langel and Mary Jean Langel (Heiderscheit); and his sister Joyce Bahrs (Chuck). He is survived by: his wife Lori Lundy; his daughters, Kimber Diederich (Adam) of Orion and Katie Sothmann (Sam) of Coal Valley; his grandchildren, Karsyn, Kolby Diederich, Maeve and Jack Sothmann; and his siblings, David Langel of Rock Island, Judy Edwards of Silvis and Jeanie Swanson of Milan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Dale's memory for cancer research.
