He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Taylor and Kate Taylor (Thomas); his siblings, Wanda, Lewis, Clyde "Red", Gary and Jewell; his parents-in-law, Roy and Ramona Joneson; and his siblings-in-law, James "Jimmy" Joneson, Glenn Joneson, Prissy Joneson and Kay Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his sons, Brent Taylor (Jennifer) of Minooka and Jeremy Taylor of Peoria, Illinois; his grandchildren, Brielle Taylor and Maxwell Taylor; his brothers, John Taylor (Rae) of Braidwood and Bob Taylor of Stone Fort; his sister-in-law Betty Taylor of Braidwood; and his niece Nicole Joneson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Ron's memory to the Coal City United Methodist Church (https://www.coalcityum.org) or to the ALS United Chicago.
