He is survived by: his wife Jean Shear; and his children, Robert Shear, Jr. (Elaine), Bonnie Ryder (Dan Goodman), Karen Cairns (Mike) and Brenda Zierman (John). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
