With solemn reverence, we commemorate Robert Joseph Walsh of Coal City, Illinois, whose life came to an end on January 18, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Walsh and Elsie Walsh (Unger); his brother Kenneth Walsh (Murphy); his father-in-law Robert Zerboglio; and his brother-in-law Robert Stansberry, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Susan Walsh of Coal City; his children, Kelli Ogrodnik (Peter) and Christopher Walsh (Allison); his grandchildren, Madeline Ogrodnik, Peter Ogrodnik, John Ogrodnik, Harrison Walsh and Ace Walsh; his mother-in-law Gloria Zerboglio; his sister Ann Stansberry; and his sisters-in-law, Lori Halliday (John) and Julie Stiles (Darren). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church (195 S Kankakee St, Coal City, IL 60416).
Preferred memorials may be made out to Lightways Hospice or to Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.
