It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Marizza Sr. (Coal City, Illinois), born in Morris, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Marizza and Mary Marizza; his brothers, Don Marizza (Mary) and Ray Marizza; his parents-in-law, George and Diana Knupp; and his brother-in-law Max Knupp.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Marizza; his children, Rick Marizza (Laura), Mike Marizza (Tammy) and Stephanie Porterfield (Mike); his grandsons, Craig Pierard (Cindy), Mike Marizza (Dani) and Stephan Porterfield (Whitney); and his great grandchildren, Dalton Dugard, Laynah Pierard and Landyn Pierard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
