It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Odo of Coal City, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Endrst and Rita Endrst (Girot); her husband Peter Odo; and her sister Janet Powell. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimmy Odo (Guy Lawrence) of Coal City, Tami Maland (Peter) of Coal City, Shari Talkington (Chad) of Coal City and Gina Wharrie (Keith) of Coal City; her grandchildren, Dakota Collins (Dawn Szatmari), Carson Principe (Dom), Rita Maland (Chase Mincey), Peter Maland, Charles Maland, Gwen Wharrie and Thor Wharrie; her sisters, Janice "Pinky" Olson (late Butch) of Coal City and Lou Ann "Mimi" Barisa of Kankakee; her brother-in-law Dave Powell of Coal City; and her nephew Tony Maland (Megan Anderson).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made as gifts in Linda's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
