She was predeceased by: her father Robert Reif; her husband James Allan Melius; and her sister Bobbie Fantus. She is survived by: her mother Virginia Reif (Mitchell) of Waukegan; her children, Alison Melius (Mitch Hibler) of Terra Haute and Max Melius of Diamond; her siblings, Mitchell Reif (Liz) of Vernon Hills, David Reif (Tracy) of Winthop Harbor, Illinois and Susan Eng of Annapolis, Maryland; her brothers-in-law, Jim Fantus, Michael Melius (Rita) and Robert Melius (Judy); and her nieces and nephews, Matt Fantus (Natalie), Michael Fantus, Melissa Lynch (Matt), Jacquie Matayosian (Mike), Katie Otterson (Jake), Jason Reif (Cierra), Christian Eng and Bryant Eng. She is also survived by mother to her own children.
