She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Shoemaker and Viola Shoemaker. She is survived by: her children, Robert Shoemaker (Abbie) of Morris, Jessica Shoemaker (Coty Hoffman) of Morris, Carlos Shoemaker (Amy Roszak) of Worth and Jimmy Elkin of Morris; her grandchildren, Lilah Shoemaker, Sakura, Selena, Violet Hoffman, Anthony, Lily and Rylan Elkin; and her uncle George Reader (late Joan) of Coal City.
During the COVID 19 Pandemic, Kay Lynn was proud to work part time as a contact tracer.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Kay Lynn's memory to the Coal City United Methodist Church.
