It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen R. Esgar of Coal City, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Glenn and Marjorie Glenn (Blake); her husband Mark Esgar; her parents-in-law, Paul Esgar and Ardella Esgar Harris; her sons, Seth and Chris Esgar; and her brothers-in-law, Rick Walker, Todd Esgar and Tom Ryder.
She is survived by: her children, Chad Esgar (Amanda) of Morris and Cara Esgar; her grandchildren, Maci, Cade Baldauf, Ellie, Chris and Camden Esgar; her siblings, Kevin Glenn (Bobbi) of Ohio, Susan Glenn of Odell, IL, Gail Lopez (Zeke) of Morris, Jane Ryder of Forest, IL, Dean Glenn of Morris, David Glenn (Patsy) of California and Amy Enger (Todd) of Morris; and her sisters-in-law, Paula Walker of Rolla, Lauri Roe (David) of Verona, IL, Jan Murray (Bob) of Mazon and Julie Roe (Randy) of Verona. She is also survived by many cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reeves Funeral Home (75 N Broadway St, Coal City, IL 60416). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 1454 Cemetery Rd, Morris, IL 60450.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Kathleen's memory to the family for their distribution.
