She was predeceased by: her father Selmar Franklin; and her brother Franklin Holt. She is survived by: her husband William Alderson; her daughter Russelle Holsinger (Brent) of Columbus, OH; her grandson William Holsinger of Annapolis, MD; her siblings, Lois Stamper, Judy Holt and Roger D. Holt; and her sister-in-law Ann Holt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Uplifted Care hospice or to an animal organization of the donor's choice.
