Maland Jr. of Coal City, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joseph leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Sr. Maland and Loretta Maland. He is survived by: his wife Mary Maland; his son Todd Maland (LeAnn) of Joliet; his grandchildren, Haley, Anthony and Jackson Maland; his sister Valerie Maland of Elburn; and his close friend Carol Stonecipher. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
