We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2025, at the age of 77, Joseph F. Grega Jr. (Coal City, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph, Sr. Grega and Hazel Grega (Miller); his sister Debra Grega; and his parents-in-law, Marvin and Delores "Lori" Tyler.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Grega of Diamond; his son Brian Grega of Diamond; his sister-in-law Kathleen Lestina (late Joe) of Diamond; his nieces, Haley Florey-Hoffman (James) of Tyler and Kim Pavlis (Mark) of Coal City; and his nephew Aaron Lestina of Diamond.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reeves Funeral Home (75 N Broadway St, Coal City, IL 60416). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Braceville Gardner Cemetery (7295 E Braceville Rd, Braceville, IL 60407).
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Joe's memory to the family for distribution to charities of their choosing.
