With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Anton Giacomo of Coal City, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on April 16, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Giacomo and Mary Marie Giacomo; his sister Esther Wills (Donald); his parents-in-law, Helen and Lawrence LaZier; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon White (Charles "Ike") and Lawrence LaZier, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mary Giacomo of Coal City; his children, Stacy Warner (Terry) of Braidwood and Kent Giacomo of Coal City; his grandson Tyler Warner; and his sister-in-law Helen Uhrich (late Lewis) of Naples, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be directed to Coal City Emergency Services or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
