He was predeceased by: his parents, William August Kerr and Ovalina Minton; and his nephew Jimmy Kerr. He is survived by: his wife Lisa C. Kerr of Coal City; his children, Jacqualine Jacob (John) of Minooka, IL, Elizabeth Vargas (Angel) of Coal City and Mason Kerr of Coal City; his grandchildren, Ethan Vescovi, Layla, Sophia, Gabriel Jacob and Violet Vargas; his brother Jimmy Kerr (Cathy) of Braidwood, IL; his nieces and nephews, Heather, Jesse Kerr, Samantha McCants, Robert, Zak Grogan of Casey Therese, TJ, Jeremy and Briana Adkins; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan, Colt Corbin, Jordan Kerr, Dylan, Desirae Kerr, Dean, Ian and Niko Adkins.
Funeral service will be Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 11:00 a. m. Out of respect for the family, all attendees will be required to wear face masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Morning Star Mission, which were two favorite charities of Johnny's, would be appreciated.
