He is survived by: his wife Gigi Gubbins; his sons, Sean Gubbins (Nicole) of Channahon and Timothy Gubbins of Diamond; his grandchildren, Kiana Gubbins, Ethan Gubbins, Aidan Gubbins, Tyler Gubbins and Avery Gubbins; his siblings, Jeannie Niemet (late Robert) of Hoffman Estates and William Gubbins (Bridget) of England; and his cousin Patricia Gubbins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
