We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2024, at the age of 97, Joan Ryan of Coal City, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Ryan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pantaleone and Madeline Pantaleone-Burla (Marietta); her brothers, Peter Pantaleone and James Pantaleone (June); her sons-in-law, Chet Davito and Jerry Butz; and her grandson Michael Ryan.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Butz (late Jerry), Jean Jacovec (Robert "Hunky"), Patricia Davito (late Chet), Harold Ryan (Anita), Michael Ryan (Theresa) and James Ryan (Victoria); her grandchildren, Tony Jacovec (Julie), Christine Paprochi (Dan), Kate Davito, Jake Davito (Spencer), Timothy Ryan (Jenn), Jennifer Endrst (John), Patrick Ryan, Nick Ryan, Sara Marlowe (Nathan) and Ben Ryan; and her sister-in-law Juanita Pantaleone. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Joan's memory to the Coal City Food Pantry, 6805 East McArdle Road, in Coal City or to the Arc of Dwight, 300 East Mazon Avenue, in Dwight for Senior Activities.
