Joan L. Blaine Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan L. Blaine of Coal City, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan L. Blaine to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Funk and Catherine Funk (Beard); her brother Richard Funk; and her husband Bob. She is survived by: her sons, Robert E. Blaine, Jr. (Betty) of Summerville and Joseph Blaine (Susan) of Coal City; her grandchildren, Katie-Lynn Ludes (Jim), Leslie Neitzel (Chris), Robyn Barrette (Joe), Matthew Blaine (Jamie), Tiffany Blaine and Justin Blaine (Aubrey); her great grandchildren, Gabe, Dylan, Evangeline Jo, Conner, Payton, Camryn, Cathryn, Henry, Brady, Ryder, Beckett, Austin, Tristan, Karly, Elena, Easton, Brooklyn and Blake; and her sisters-in-law, Dee Provance (late Ivan), Doris (late Bill Scharman), Betty Watson and Barb Funk. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reeves Funeral Home (75 N Broadway St, Coal City, IL 60416). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coal City United Methodist Church (6805 E McArdle Rd, Coal City, IL 60416). A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (700 Williams St, Wilmington, IL 60481).
