He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Loren and Margaret "Peg" Hume (Huseby); and his parents-in-law, James and Nadine Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Haynes; his children, Lauren Vitko of Gardner, Josh Hume (Jen) of Morris and Nick Hume of Gardner; his grandchildren, Owen, Grace, Cecelia Vitko, Aidan Bolak, Charlotte and Arlo Hume; his siblings, Barb Boma (Jim) of Morris, Bob Hume (Jeanne) of Stockton and Mike Hume (Debbie) of Valley Springs, California; his brother-in-law Jay Haynes (Tess) of San Jose, California; his nieces and nephews, Jen Unick (Tim) of Las Vegas, Steph Silva (Marco) of Escalon, Jeremy Haynes of San Jose and Jayssielisa Haynes of San Jose; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Katelyn, Natalie, Jacob and Alexis.
