It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeremy William Obert of Coal City, Illinois, born in Hinsdale, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Eileen Joyce Lawsen and Arlene Obert. He is survived by: his parents, Melinda Warriner (Doug) of Diamond and Jeffrey William Obert of Arizona; his children, Benjamin William Obert, Andrew Connel Obert, Evelyn Jane Obert and Kristen Higgins of Coal City; his siblings, Justin Obert (Jennifer) of Diamond and Jessica Hicks (Cody) of Coal City; his nieces and nephews, Cole, Lillyan, Jackson, Nola Lee and Willis; and his grandfathers, Connel Ade Willis (Helen) of Steger and William Patrick Obert of Chicago.
Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts to the family for the benefit of Jeremy's children.
