Freda Dzuris Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2022, at the age of 94, Freda Dzuris of Coal City, Illinois, born in Maroa, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Thomas and Edna Thomas (Schultz); her husband John; and her siblings, Hubert, Glen, Kathryn and Bernadine.
She is survived by: her friend John Dzuris; her daughters, Lauri Dzuris (Alan Long) of Aurora and Carol Swearingen (Rick) of Mahomet; her grandchildren, Fana Dzuris Long of Aurora, Matthew Swearingen of Peoria and Kate Nelson (Andy) of Champaign; and her great grandchildren, Madilyn Swearingen, Ivy and Otto Nelson.
In lieu of flowers preferred memorials in Freda's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation, Coal City Library or Coal City United Methodist Church.
