With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Baber (Coal City, Illinois), who passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gross and Dominica "Minnie" Gross (Fornelli); her husband James A. Baber; her son-in-law Charles Thomas; and her sister Dorothy Wollgast (Bill).
She is survived by: her daughters, Anita Ryan (Harold) of Diamond and Cathy Thomas of Joliet; her grandchildren, Timothy Ryan (Jen) of Napa, Jennifer Endrst (John) of Coal City, Patrick Ryan (Kaity Weiland) of Chicago, Ashley Thomas of Joliet and Matt Thomas (Jen Valadez) of Riverside, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Rylee Endrst, Ryan Endrst, Noah Ryan and Cyrus Ryan; her sister-in-law Adeline Hall of Braidwood, Illinois; her cousin Rita Willis; and her friend Jessie Kasher of Coal City.
