He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Anderson and Eileen Anderson; his son Shawn Eric Anderson; his brother-in-law George Koca; and his siblings, Darlene Bellis, Dean Anderson and DuWayne Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Koca; his son Chris Anderson (Mary Beth) of Coal City; his grandsons, Justin Anderson (Allison) and Colin Anderson; his great grandchildren, Payton and Cole Anderson; his brother Doug Anderson; and his sisters-in-law, Nori Butterfield (Barry), Beverly Koca and Eileen Anderson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. W. Patterson Funeral Home (401 E Main St, Braidwood, IL 60408). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his name may be directed to Lightways Hospice or Coal City Food Pantry.
