With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Melvin of Coal City, Illinois, born in Pontiac, Illinois, who passed away on January 1, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldo Arnold and Donna Louise Brady (Ward); her husband Roger; her daughter Debra Schumacher; and her siblings, Linda Volk and Edwin Brady.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Melvin (Marianne) of Coal City, Darren Melvin (Heather) of Wilmington and Jennie Johnson (Art) of Crest Hill; her son-in-law Todd Schumacher; her grandchildren, Heather Davis (Derek), Matt Melvin, Brian Popovich, Katie Cialone, Julie Popovich (Hunter Sayers), Amy Popovich, Douglas Johnson and Brady Johnson; her great grandchildren, Emily Popovich, Braxton Davis, Kade Melvin, Jace Cialone and Ella Popovich; and her siblings-in-law, Michael Melvin of Oglesby and Mary Ann Melvin of Streator. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
