He is survived by: his wife Concheta Diaz of Diamond; his children, Dana Abraham (Phil) of South Carolina, Alphonso Diaz II (Tara) of Kentucky and Richard Diaz (Erika) of Channahon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Samantha Watson (Dakota), Lydia Abriega (Richard), Morgan Abraham (Jacob Davis), Alphonso Diaz III (Kayla), Colin Diaz, Tristan Diaz and Emy Diaz; his great grandchildren, Jetson, Oliver, Kellin, Penelope and Audrey; and his siblings, Anita Patino (Juan), Onnie Diaz (Alice), Maria Bybee, John Diaz, Theresa Zamudio (Rafael), Gloria Zamudio (Romeo), Frank Diaz (Mary), Bob Diaz (Theresa) and Lusie Diaz (Paul Raab). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Al's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
