He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred "Jake" and Geneva Followell (Gallway); and his wife Charlene Scogin. He is survived by: his children, Genita Hawes of Clinton, IL, Sue Followell of Clinton, IL and Chopper Followell of Clinton, IL; and his close friend Marica Pense of Maroa, IL. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren; along with 3 sisters and 1 brother.
