She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Dubson and Helen Dubson (Welch); her son Edward Bateson; and her siblings, Sally Simpson, Butch Dubson, David Troy Dubson and Benjamin Dubson.

She is survived by: her stepfather Clifford Schultz; her husband Francis W. "Shotgun" Bateson of Clinton, IL; her daughters, Frances Bateson of Clinton, IL and Sheryl Marie Bateson of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, Johnathon Gregory, Brandon Bateson (Sydney), Halen Sexton, Abigail Bateson, Eddie Bateson, Jr., Kylee Moore, Leann Benson, Angel Bateson, Destinee Bateson, Jordan Bateson, Jaden Bateson and Jade Bateson; and her great grandchildren, Weston William Bateson and Landyn Bateson.
