He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Adcock and Etta E. Adcock (Craft); and his brothers, John and Joe. He is survived by: his wife Laura Lou "Lootie" Newberry; his children, Nanette Strange (Jim) of The Villages, FL, Brenda Blattner (Jerome) of Tampa, FL and Bob Adcock (Deb) of Pontiac, IL; his grandchildren, Josh Strange (Theresa), Jamee Strange, Adam Blattner, Alex Adcock (Bree), Andrew Adcock and Aaron Adcock; and his great grandchildren, Nathaniel, David, Caleb Strange, Anna Lou and Emma Adcock.
