She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Mefford-Fry and Irene Mefford-Fry (Goff); her sister Jean Bell; and her brothers-in-law, Fred Warner, Denzel Stephens and Earl Bell.
She is survived by: her spouse Melvin Mefford; her son Russell Mefford; her daughter-in-law Cindy Mefford; her daughter Melanie Rinehart; her grandchildren, Vince Tapley, Tiffany Tapley of Paris, IL, Brent Rinehart and Katie Mefford; and her great grandchildren, Braxton Snodgrass of Paris, IL, Jeremiah Tapley and Miley Tapley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Oak Ridge United Methodist Church with envelopes available at the funeral home and the church.
