He is survived by : his children, Tammy Thompson (Trent) of Heyworth, IL, Michael Lanham of Bloomington, IL and Julie Johnson of New Port Richey, FL; his grandchildren, Nicole Tibbs of Normal, IL, Justin Thompson of Heyworth, IL and Johnathon Koebler of New Port Richey, FL; and his great grandchildren, Tinleigh and Brinleigh Tibbs of Normal, IL..

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Horizon Christian Church (14038 E 350 North Rd, Heyworth, IL 61745). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

The family suggests memorials be made to New Horizon Christian Church.
