He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Maxwell and Nellie Maxwell (Stone); his children, John A. "Pete" Maxwell, Jr. (Debbie) and Lee Ann Perring (Steve); and his brothers, Lloyd, Lester, Roger and Robert.
He is survived by: his spouse Iris A. Isaac; his grandchildren, Jennifer Shaw (Ron), Beth Maxwell, Merry Blankenship (Dustin) and Kyle Marcum (Lauren); and his siblings, Margaret Burger, Louise Nichols (Cletus) and Joseph R. Maxwell (Betty) of Vilonia, AR.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the DeWitt County Museum or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
