He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur and Clemma Rutherford (Lawson). He is survived by: his children, Judy Riley of Springfield, Clemma Melroy of Springfield, Connie Kammerer (Kenny) of Sparland, IL and Fred Rutherford, Jr. of Springfield; and his siblings, Rose Dubson of Clinton, Nancy Melton of Clinton, Lloyd Rutherford (Gloria) of Springfield and Clyde Rutherford of Mauston, WI. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren.
