He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Albert and Jessie C. Goodwin (Hidden); and his brother Harold C. T. Goodwin. He is survived by: his children, Janet Brady (Virgil) of Clinton, IL, Ernest J. Goodwin (Lucy), Gary Goodwin of Woodriver, IL and Thomas Goodwin of Clinton, IL; and his brother Paul A. Goodwin (Marsha). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Clinton American Legion or AM Vets Ernest was born October 9, 1920 in Bethalto, IL the son of Ernest Albert and Jessie C. (Hidden) Goodwin.
